The Peoples Regular Bapitst Church Ladies Bible Study meets Tuesday mornings beginning at 10:00 am. Currently our text is focusing on the Minor Prophets utilizing "Ruin and Restoration" by John Hartog II and John Hartog III.
Do you ever struggle with pride or envy? Have you participated ina worship service wh en your heart and mind weren't really worshipping? Is exploitation of the poor a problem in your culture? The minor prophets address issues common to the human race, even though they themselves lived centuries before Christ. This study of six of the twelve Minor Prophets will also show you that God uses "secular" people to accomplish His will and how he can give us a second chance when we fail the first time around. You'll see God's hand at work in a family as well as in international events. You'll find details of God's yet future plans for this world. Welcome to a rather neglected part of God's Word. This study was designed to help you understand the contents of the Minor Prophets and relate those truths to your situation. To receive the maximum benefit from each chapter, we suggest you do more than simply read. Ponder the quotation from the Bible found in "Grow in Grace..." Answer the few questions. Consider the "Apply It!" section at the end of each chapter. The study of the Minor Prophets should help you connect believing with behaving.
